More Proof That Politicians Can Not Be Trusted
When I was a teenager I had a part time job. At the end of the week I would get my paycheck and then promptly spend every penny of it without regard for any need to save some for the future, even if the future was just three days away. Because I was out of money as fast as I could get to the local mall with my buddies, I would go to my only other source of cash; mom.
Fortunately my mother learned to not give me a handout just because I was foolish enough to spend my last $12 on that David Lee Roth solo album. No, instead she told me that if I needed money for something I could do two things; work more or spend with less frivolity.
Apparently the U.S. government and the idiots that run the nuthouse never had a mother. I know this because I have seen some of the items placed into Obama’s spending plan. Let’s take a look at some of the genius ideas that they have in store for YOUR money
- $150,000,000.00 (That’s 150 million to you and me) for honey bee insurance.
- $400,000,000.00 for STD prevention. Nancy Pelosi thinks this is going to help stimulate our economy. Stimulate? Something might be stimulated, but I don’t think it will be our economy. Pelosi argues that this will help states save money. Save money? This is about stimulus, saving is a different problem. Let me save the country $400 million; put on a condom. Problem solved.
- $25,000,000.00 for rehabilitation of off road vehicle trails. No, that’s not a misprint. $25 mil for off road vehicle routes. Wait a second… these are off road vehicles, shouldn’t they be able to handle this on their own?
November, December Surprise!? Maybe? Please?
First of all, I would like to start by congratulating Mr. Obama on his victory. This election is truly historic and blah, blah, blah.
Anyways, moving on. The case of Berg v. Obama has moved to the US Supreme Court following it’s dismissal by Clinton appointee U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick. Mr. Berg filed a Writ of Certiorari on October 30 requesting review of the dismissal. The Court has set a deadline of December 1 for Obama and the DNC to respond. Following that, Mr. Berg will be expected to reply to the Defendants response and the Court will decide whether it will review the case.
I hope that our Supreme Court will do what no one else has seemed interested in doing, verifying this guys Constitutional eligibility! If he is, thats great and lets move forward. But if he isn’t, he needs to be exposed and replaced. I don’t care about all the legalese involved, some authority needs to say “You know what, lets just have a look and make sure.”. I mean, they verified my citizenship status when I joined the military and then again when they thoroughly investigated me for my security clearance. It shouldn’t be too much to ask that our commander and chief, the guy followed around by an officer handcuffed to the “football”, be asked to do the same.
On a side note, if he gets outed, you may want to invest in some boards for your windows and a shotgun. You can expect a lot of this…

Filed Under UncategorizedEnjoy Low Taxes? Obama Says You Are Selfish!
Thats right. Yesterday in Sarasota, Florida Barack Obama attempted to fight back against Sen. John McCain’s accurate description of his proposed tax policies but ended up with his foot in his mouth instead. Take a listen.
What you just saw there was Obama laying the ground work. “For what?”, you ask. For across the board income tax hikes if he is elected. Mark my words friends. His math does not add up. Just two days ago, during his half hour infomercial, he lowered the income level he would inflict a 50% tax bracket on from $250,000 a year to $200,000. But I guess “it’s time to be patriotic.”.
Next thing you know, the Democrats will be looking to seize our 401(k) plans. Oh yeah, they are! Bet you haven’t heard about that yet. Recently, Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee’s Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support (what a freakin’ mouth full) met with Teresa Ghilarducci, professor at the New School of Social Research, to discuss exactly that. Apparently, its not fair that some of us are disciplined enough to try and fund our retirement while others are to lazy to get a job. Thus, you may be noticing a trend here, we should share.
I thought my momma taught me to share, but these guys take it to a whole new level that I’m not sure I’m comfortable with. I guess I’m just going to have to live with the title “selfish”.

Filed Under Uncategorized30 Minutes Of My Life I Can Never Have Back
Thats the only way I can describe last nights multi-network Obama propaganda film. Barry used his latest spectacle to try and convince us that he is our savior and he is the only one who can deliver us from our economic woes, all the while completely ignoring the sky high costs of his proposed new spending and the enormous budget pressures he would face if elected. Here are some of what Obama tried to sell us last night, courtesy of Calvin Woodward:
THE SPIN: “That’s why my health care plan includes improving information technology, requires coverage for preventive care and pre-existing conditions and lowers health care costs for the typical family by $2,500 a year.”
THE FACTS: His plan does not lower premiums by $2,500, or any set amount. Obama hopes that by spending $50 billion over five years on electronic medical records and by improving access to proven disease management programs, among other steps, consumers will end up saving money. He uses an optimistic analysis to suggest cost reductions in national health care spending could amount to the equivalent of $2,500 for a family of four. Many economists are skeptical those savings can be achieved, but even if they are, it’s not a certainty that every dollar would be passed on to consumers in the form of lower premiums.
___
THE SPIN: “I’ve offered spending cuts above and beyond their cost.”
THE FACTS: Independent analysts say both Obama and Republican John McCain would deepen the deficit. The nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates Obama’s policy proposals would add a net $428 billion to the deficit over four years—and that analysis accepts the savings he claims from spending cuts. The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, whose other findings have been quoted approvingly by the Obama campaign, says: “Both John McCain and Barack Obama have proposed tax plans that would substantially increase the national debt over the next 10 years.” The analysis goes on to say: “Neither candidate’s plan would significantly increase economic growth unless offset by spending cuts or tax increases that the campaigns have not specified.”
___
THE SPIN: “Here’s what I’ll do. Cut taxes for every working family making less than $200,000 a year. Give businesses a tax credit for every new employee that they hire right here in the U.S. over the next two years and eliminate tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas. Help homeowners who are making a good faith effort to pay their mortgages, by freezing foreclosures for 90 days. And just like after 9-11, we’ll provide low-cost loans to help small businesses pay their workers and keep their doors open. ”
THE FACTS: His proposals—the tax cuts, the low-cost loans, the $15 billion a year he promises for alternative energy, and more—cost money, and the country could be facing a record $1 trillion deficit next year. Indeed, Obama recently acknowledged—although not in his commercial—that: “The next president will have to scale back his agenda and some of his proposals.”
___
THE SPIN: “I also believe every American has a right to affordable health care.”
THE FACTS: That belief should not be confused with a guarantee of health coverage for all. He makes no such promise. Obama hinted as much in the ad when he said about the problem of the uninsured: “I want to start doing something about it.” He would mandate coverage for children but not adults. His program is aimed at making insurance more affordable by offering the choice of government-subsidized coverage similar to that in a plan for federal employees and other steps, including requiring larger employers to share costs of insuring workers.
___
THE SPIN: “We are currently spending $10 billion a month in Iraq, when they have a $79 billion surplus. It seems to me that if we’re going to be strong at home as well as strong abroad that we’ve got to look at bringing that war to a close.” These lines in the ad were taken from a debate with McCain.
THE FACTS: Obama was once and very often definitive about getting combat troops out in 16 months (At times during the primaries, he promised to do so within a year). More recently, without backing away explicitly from the 16-month withdrawal pledge, he has talked of the need for flexibility. In the primaries, it would have been a jarring departure for him to have said merely that “we’ve got to look at” ending the war. As for Iraq’s surplus, it’s true that Iraq could end up with a surplus that large, but that hasn’t happened yet.
Here is a clip for those who missed it.

I just under two hours, Barack Obama will be airing a thirty minute prime time infomercial on CBS, NBC, FOX, Univision, BET MSNBC, and TV One. I, for one, can’t wait! It will mean I’m one step closer to the end of this almost two year long river of bull crap. That being said, I could be one step closer to four years of it. Something tells me that if this blow hard wins we are in for many more prime time, Mile High Stadium, Berlin rally spectacles. Anyways, in a preemptive strike before Obama’s self-love-a-thon tonight, the McCain campaign has released a new ad. This is the kind of stuff they needed to be pumping out all along.

A new clip from a 2001 interview on Chicago Public Radio with then State Senator Barack Obama has surfaced. In the interview, he declares that its a tragedy the Constitution was not more radically reinterpreted to force redistribution of wealth for African Americans and that it is still an issue today. He went on to say that while the civil rights movement was able to “invest formal rights” it failed to deal with the “issues of redistribution of wealth” from whites to blacks and that the Supreme Court needed to take on the “economic injustice in this society”! He then stated that the courts need to be more radical and “break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution”.
Take the time to listen to the clip below a spread it far and wide. We cannot afford this kind of activism in the White House.
Filed Under UncategorizedJudge Rules “We The People” Have No Standing To Question Obama
Thats right, U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick dismissed the case of Berg v. Obama that I wrote about a couple of weeks ago. For those unfamiliar, the case alleges that Barack Obama is ineligible to run for President because he does not meet the Constitutional requirement that he be a “natural born” citizen. Obama was ordered by the court to produce several documents, including his long form birth certificate, to verify his citizenship status. My question is why did he not just provide the paperwork and end it there like Sen. McCain did when his eligibility was questioned? Instead, he played games and filed multiple motions delaying the deadline.
That brings us to yesterday when Judge Surrick acted upon Obama’s request for dismissal. Surrick ruled that Philip Berg lacked standing to bring the case, saying any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was “too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters.”
Are you kidding me! If Philip Berg doesn’t have standing, if I don’t have standing, if you don’t have standing to question the eligibility of a candidate running for President then who does? I’d say the “harm” to Philip Berg and all US citizens in this case is anything but “vague”. What happened to the “Government of the people, by the people, for the people” that Abraham Lincoln spoke of? If we have no standing to ask that a constitutional requirement be enforced, then by precedent of this case, we have no standing to ask that any of our constitutional rights be protected. The document isn’t worth the paper its written on!
Following the ruling, Berg announced that he is immediately appealing the dismissal of the case to the US Supreme Court. The case is Berg v. Obama, No. 08-cv-04083. Here he is discussing the case after it was initially filed.
UPDATE: I have just learned that U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick was a Clinton appointee. That is an interesting, and not at all surprising, piece of information.
